Profile Description

Dr. Keiona Seldra Jones is an experienced physician with 13 years of service in the medical field in Trinidad and Tobago. She has extensive experience in Accident and Emergency care, having worked for approximately five years at the Sangre Grande Hospital. For the last six years, she has served in Primary Care and Community Health at the Eastern Regional Health Authority as a Medical Officer I and currently as a Primary Care Physician II (Ag.).
Her passion for Public Health, Family Medicine, and Palliative Care has driven her to pursue postgraduate studies in these fields. She holds an M.Sc. in Palliative Care, a Master of Public Health, and an M.Sc. in Family Medicine. Dr. Jones is also a registered specialist in Public Health with the Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago and has been accepted to pursue a Doctorate in Public Health at the University of the West Indies, Mona, starting in September 2024.
In addition to her medical expertise, Dr. Jones is a member of the Caribbean Psychosocial Steering Committee, which focuses on raising awareness of psychosocial factors that affect patients and their families. She is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Arima and is passionate about community charity projects.
