Dr. Undurti Narasimha Das, widely known as Dr. U.N. Das, is a Consultant Physician, Diabetologist, Clinical Immunologist, and Rheumatologist with an extensive career in medical research and clinical practice. He is the Founder President and CEO of UND Life Sciences and serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board at Asha Nutrition Sciences, Inc. A Fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, Dr. Das is recognized for his pioneering research in immunology, endocrinology, and rheumatology.

Dr. Das has been awarded the prestigious “Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology” in 1992 by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), acknowledging his significant contributions to medical sciences. He holds five awarded patents, including innovations in anti-angiogenic substances and methods for managing neoplasias, with another ten patents pending approval. Over his career, he has published more than 370 research papers in various esteemed journals.

Dr. Das has held several notable positions, including Senior Research Fellow and Research Associate at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and CSIR, Scientist at Efamol Research Institute in Canada, and Professor of Medicine at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, India. He also served as Professor and Chief of Internal Medicine, Clinical Immunology, and Biochemistry at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, and Research Professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.

In addition to his academic and clinical roles, Dr. Das has led research initiatives as Research Director at IKP Centre for Technologies in Public Health, Chennai, and Chairman and Research Director at EFA Sciences, LLC, USA. His career reflects a steadfast dedication to advancing medical science and public health.

Dr. Das is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Association of Physicians of India, Indian Society of Oncology, Diabetic Association of India, and International College of Nutrition.
