Profile Description

Dr. Randall Gooding is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 25 years of experience across clinical, academic, and administrative roles in Trinidad & Tobago’s public healthcare system. He currently serves as a Consultant at Mount Hope Women’s Hospital, where he has also held the position of Medical Chief of Staff.
He is a DM graduate in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the University of the West Indies, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and holds an MBA in Health Management (with Distinction) from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.
Dr. Gooding has chaired the Perinatal Mortality Review Board, led national postgraduate lecture series, and served as an advisor to the National Drug Formulary Committee. He is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education as an Associate Lecturer at UWI.
He has participated in numerous local and international conferences and training programs, with focused interests in high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive gynaecologic surgery, and colposcopy.
Dr. Gooding is also the Founder and Manager of First Call Medical Services. His clinical interests include pelvic floor surgery for bladder and uterine prolapse, early pregnancy loss, PCOS, and the use of bikini-cut techniques for all sizes of uterine fibroids and ovarian masses. He is a strong advocate for healthcare leadership and education, and is known for his dedication to teaching and mentoring in the field of medical management.
